These terms apply to Hunch: Gut Journal. By using Hunch, you agree to use it responsibly and only for lawful personal journaling purposes.

Not medical advice

Hunch is a food, symptom, and pattern journaling tool. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease. Do not use Hunch as a substitute for professional medical advice.

Your journal

You are responsible for the information you log. AI classifications and pattern insights can be wrong or incomplete, especially when photos are unclear, descriptions are incomplete, or meals have complex ingredients.

Subscriptions

Paid Hunch features may be offered through auto-renewable subscriptions managed by Apple. Prices, trial availability, renewal, cancellation, and refunds are handled through your Apple account and Apple’s App Store terms.

Fair use

Paid AI features include fair-use limits to protect service reliability and operating cost. If a daily or monthly AI limit is reached, non-AI journal features continue to work.

Acceptable use

• Do not attempt to access another person’s account or data.
• Do not abuse AI, upload unlawful content, or interfere with the service.
• Do not reverse engineer the service except where allowed by law.

Changes

Hunch may change features or terms over time. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
